 Sophia
Adams is a jewelry designer who has spent the past 12 years developing the
unique artistic talent she expresses in fine jewelry. Her natural
creativity is brought to life in necklaces, bracelets and pendants;
reflecting her special ability to inspire a whimsical joy in clients who
wear her designs throughout the world.

in a smile.”
Born in St. Louis, Missouri and nurtured in an artistic family environment
surrounded by painting, drawing and sculpting, Sophia pursued her art
education at Lindenwood College. She was fortunate in having the
opportunity to study under two talented jewelry designers, Jack Neustaeder
and Phil Symon. Under the tutelage of these two masters, Sophia’s natural
creative ability and technical skill blossomed. Currently, Sophia Adams
jewelry designs are available in a wide variety of exquisite pieces and
collections crafted from sterling silver, 14k gold and 18k gold in
combination with pearls, gems, beads and stones.
In 2003, Sophia began to include purple jade in a series of new designs,
drawn by the incredible depth and variation of color inherent in this
natural stone. Realizing the ethereal beauty of this precious resource
deserved a showcase of it’s own, she formed Purple Jade Escapade to focus
the spotlight on a whole new collection of her unique designs.
