Halama
Glass is a company that continues in
the long lasting family tradition of
three generations of skilled and
specialized art glass producers. A
characteristic feature of Halama
Glass collection is the composition
of relief motifs kept in historical
style, animal figurines, birds, sea
animals and motifs of woman figures
often presented in late 19th century
decorative style. This can be
achieved only by experience, exact
and sharp metal forms.
Considering art, historical quality,
price of the original glass moulds
and the considerable interest of the
owner to preserve these moulds for
further generations of art glass
producers, it has been decided not
to proceed with mass production, as
the glass moulds have only a limited
service life. Therefore, every piece
is original.
Halama
was a prime competitor of the famous
French Company Lalique until the
rise of commumism in the Czech
Republic and the factory was closed.
