With a hardness of 6 New Tanzanian Gold Sheen Feldspar,  Newly discovered gem that few if any have seen.  The rough is uninteresting and does not readily revel its hidden treasure.  Could be the reason no one brought it to market before.  Brownish base with surface patterns and a beautiful rich golden sheen or metallic like chantoyancy.  At this point the stone is very rare in the market place.  The reserves are not significant which will keep this gem scarce.  A very interesting variety in the feldspar family that few will ever own!  Opaque to slightly translucent free of any significant flaws.  Custom oval cabochon cut in our lapidary.
